Miles Ahead Music

Miles ahead was a great project to work on. They wanted to be able to list their instruments online and that is what they got! They had a previous design that they liked, but was done in Flash. So we converted the design to XHTML and added a bunch of functionality.

Superior Van and Mobility wanted to update the look of their website and update the content on some of their pages. The new design uses valid XHTML and CSS2 and is accessible to disabled web users.

They were so pleased with our initial work, they they have come back several times to add functionality to the site. First we added vehicle listings and then we added the news area of the website.

Yardbirds

Yardbirds needed a website to help their wholesale customers have easy access to products and pricing. We developed an online catalog for their products, login protected areas for their registered wholesale customers, and a control panel for their staff to update the catalog. New wholesale customers can quickly get access to the site by filling out the registration form.

We have continued to make updates to the site as needed, the most significant being a design revision in Spring of 2007.

Powerscreen Crushing & Screening

Powerscreen Sales needed to list their used equipment on the internet. We designed a catalog system that allowed them to upload their own images and descriptions so that their listings would be kept up-to-date. We also remodeled the design of their site and the navigation system to increase usability.

Projects Still In Development

Oldham County Homes

We remodeled this website so that it could be maintained through a control panel. The categories, subcategories, listings, and banner ads are all updatable through the control panel by a user with no knowledge of HTML. The HTML was also updated to be structurally valid along with using a search engine friendly navigation system, as opposed to the old Java script system that was being used.

Nutter Group

The Nutter Group is an executive search company. We built a system for them to show videos of their candidates to clients. We are also in the process of finalizing a new design for the whole site.

Other Notable Projects

City of Sellersburg Intranet

Not very pretty but extremely functional. We built an intranet system to help the City of Sellersburg manage their PO requests.

They were pleased with our work and had us add some additional functionality to the site to help them manage their waste management readings.

Technologies: PHP, MsSQL, SQLite

Standards: XHTML, CSS2

Completed: 3/15/2007

ERL, Inc.

After doing the commercial marine site for ERL (see below), they wanted to use the same look to remodel their home page. They decided to do away with the handful of pages they used to have and simply have a main page with their child websites and contact information.

Completed: April 2006

ERL Commercial Marine

ERL had a 180+ page print catalog that they needed to duplicate on the internet along with the ability to update the online version themselves through a control panel. The project also includes a "news and events" module and photo gallery module that are both updatable through the control panel. The graphical design was matched to the print catalog to make users of the catalog feel comfortable with the online version. Most pages can be seen in normal, print friendly, and PDF mode. The PDF pages are generated on the fly to keep them fresh but are also cached to reduce load on the server.

Kinberger Law Office

This project ended up getting canceled, but we thought it was a good design and wanted to showcase it here.

Oldham County Christian Business Network

Working as contractors, we designed the "prayer request" and "specials" page. Both dynamically generated and have a login protected administration interface. Posts to either page must first be confirmed before they show up to the public and the administrator is notified by email when a post is waiting for approval.

Oldham County E-Business

This site used to be static html pages but the site owner was not a programmer and could not keep the site updated effectively. We worked the website into a dynamic solution so the customer can now easily add/edit/delete categories, listings, and resource links without needing to know anything about html or programming.

M. S. J. Hanna Accounting

This is a temporary page done for an accountant. It was deliberately done to resemble his ad in a Christian phone book.

Not very pretty, but it does showcase some "behind the scenes" semantic and valid XHTML markup. If you are a tech geek, you might appreciate it. If not, your probably thinking, "Whats the big deal?"
